The story of ツエワ

Our first collection of eleven designs is inspired from the story of the Eleven-Faced Kannon - the goddess who, upon witnessing the world’s sorrow chose to see more deeply, not to turn away.
When her compassion overflowed, the Buddha gave her an eleventh, tranquil face a symbol of expanded awareness and quiet grace.
For us, eleven marks that same awakening - rooted in Monozukuri, the Japanese art of making with soul, and shaped from honest materials that age with grace, every stitch, cut, and contour is guided by intention, where the hand and the heart move in harmony.
Each shoe is designed to cradle the foot, honor the maker’s touch, and carry you forward with 2X strength throughout the day.
